Tony Brummer

Tony Brummer is a well-travelled, creative problem solver. Tony grew up in Texas and was raised by an artist and a teacher. After graduating from the University of Texas Austin Film School where he focused on cinematography and art, Tony went right to work Gaffing. Gaffing many features early in his career Tony has been working mostly on commercials including several Super Bowl spots. While maintaining a creative eye Tony established Texas Film and Light, a grip/electric company whose primary business function was to provide grip trucks from one to ten tons that included extensive lighting packages.

After over 25 years of experience gaffing and leading top-notch crews, Tony has become one of the top gaffers in Texas.  He has worked with and provided equipment for some of the most recognized Cinematographers in the industry; Greig Fraser, Jeff Cronenweth, Mauro Fiore, Darren Genet, Tod Cambell, Adam McDaide, Gabriel Berstein and Erik Tremel to name a few. During his career , Tony has been shooting docs, nature footage, shorts and music videos.
